are there any tattoos you hate (i don't mean this sarcastically)

    hmm

    not categorically I dont think

like bad tattoos are bad obvi

but I like face tattoos and neck tattoos and hand tattoos and foot tattoos

I personally wouldnt get one on my scalp or dick or bhole but I dont think they are bad

    hmmm

    that's an interesting position

    is this extreme or strange

    i cant judge myself

i mean i guess it's the opposite of extreme? it's extremely inclusive. i really like fashion and clothes and shoes and stuff, but there are plenty i strongly dislike. or i really dig spy movies (like bourne stuff) but there are some i don't like. it's just uncommon to hear 'they're all basically cool and interesting to me as long as they're not poorly done, though i wouldn't personally choose some'

    omg so relaxed

smoked pot last night, i was in pain from period cramps and arthritis at work but i came home and soaked in a hot bath, now taking some extra strength tylenol

    But Cass, drugs are bad!

(Also doesn't pot exacerbate some conditions like depression?)

Not depression but schizophrenia and bipolar and other psychotic disorders. Though the use has to be pretty extensive and regular.
The link is very poor and there is no causation. Furthermore, schizophrenics frequently self medicate with drugs to alleviate their symptoms.

I am comforted by Richard Dawkins’ theory of memes. Those are mental units: thoughts, ideas, gestures, notions, songs, beliefs, rhymes, ideals, teachings, sayings, phrases, clichés that move from mind to mind as genes move from body to body. After a lifetime of writing, teaching, broadcasting and telling too many jokes, I will leave behind more memes than many. They will all also eventually die, but so it goes. - Roger Ebert, I Do Not Fear Death

Let's say you have to make a choice: from now on whenever you have steak you are only allowed to get either beer OR eggs with it, and you must make the decision immediately and irrevocably. Which would you choose? Note that you cannot substitute in a replacement, for example if you get rid of beer you can't replace it with whiskey.

I'm thinking steak and beer, but it's a tough choice.

I have never had eggs with a steak worth the name

I have, but never in a dining establishment; only back in NC when I had grill capacity.

Honestly, I prefer my steak in the evening, with a salad, some kind of potato, and lots of booze.

    there is no choice here.

I don't like drinking beer with food. The taste of beer is really strong and hasn't ever really complemented the food I've eaten.

I think you are understating it.

have you seen this by any chance? In particular the stuff referenced by Dr. Roger Roffman? (note: the guy is a major sponsor of legalizing pot in this state, he isn't a DARE wacko)
What you think "makes sense" has nothing to do with reality. It just has to do with your life experience. And your life experience may only be a small smidgen of reality. Possibly even a distorted account of reality at that. So what this means is that, beginning in the 20th century as our means of decoding nature became more and more powerful, we started realizing our common sense is no longer a tool to pass judgment on whether or not a scientific theory is correct. - Neil Degrasse Tyson
