Queer as Folk UK is on Netflix, you could always watch that instead!

Significantly less boobies in that one though

The boobies level is probably zero

That level is too low. They need a sex scene injection.

    Oh there's tons of sex.

Just none of it involves anyone with boobs.

Also it has Charlie Hunnam which tends to be a bit jarring for people who only know him from Sons of Anarchy.

    Aww : (

Boobs are the best part >.>

Boobs are pretty great. So are butts. Tousled hair...

Basically, there's just something about naked women that's just sort of wonderful.

that's a sentence that translated very well.

shows how similar english is to the nordic languages

the only things that are different about the sentence structure is where the negator is and that english needs to put "do" in there for it to work

the direct word for word translation would be

everyone has it not as good as you

So, like, 90% of the cast?

Except Kit and maybe Alice. Everyone else is like mega-bitch 24/7.

    Agreeeddd.

Except no matter what Shane did, I never stopped liking her. Never got through season two, though

I like it a lot because it's one of the only words that properly describes what I have in common with rad people.

I mean that's just cuz it's an umbrella word but it's super convenient.

I find it too tepid to be hurtful, especially compared to fag. I recently found out that I have trouble saying the term fag hag aloud, just because of that brief second between the two words when you feel a little like a bigot

I hate that phrase for a couple of reasons.

    Queer I am used to.

Probably because every few weeks I go to a group where everyone checks in and states their identity and like, every single person says "queer"

Vägen bort är lång/Längre borta än hem

is harder to translate. The road away is long/further away than home does the job.

    but bort isn't just away

"he's over there" is "han er der borte"

so the first line means both the road away from here is long, and the road to over there is long

which is what fits with the next line - since it's "longer away than home" in a direct translation

and the first translation, while the only one being good english, doesn't really make sense. The meaning of it is the road to somewhere is long, it is longer than the road to home.

Probably because their drama involves romantic complications and competition among a group so small that people can't really avoid each other.

Like the straight idea that you shouldn't date a feiend's ex seems kind of untenable in a gay community, where everyone sort if knows each other and is someone else's ex.

the fag hag is an old woman in lincolnshire who is never seen without atleast 60 cigarettes on her and one lit at all times, thought by the local children to be a witch.
