    Except that the English "wire" comes from old Nordic (and still in Swedish) "vira", meaning "to twist".

    most of the mechanics I'm reading about seem like baroque nonsense (ie denial being actually shooting your own towers/creeps/friendly players, secret shops, eating trees, couriers, etc)
