    I'm looking at a dota 2 wiki

    nothing about the game makes any sense

    it's like trying to read romanian as a portuguese speaker

    I can make out some bits, they seem familiar, but then I look a a thing and I think "WTF?"

    All of us are. Not that most English speakers realize it. One of my favourite words is "snake", btw.
    The reginal word for gnat is "Schnake". Both are things that bite. (yes, they have the same root)

    I like that the English "wire" made it into Swedish as "vajer".

    Except that the English "wire" comes from old Nordic (and still in Swedish) "vira", meaning "to twist".

    the effect of seasonal adjustment:

    Number of lags, selected by AIC: 6

    	Granger causality H0: output do not Granger-cause money

    data:  VAR object model
    F-Test = 20.3178, df1 = 6, df2 = 150, p-value < 2.2e-16

    	Granger causality H0: money do not Granger-cause output

    data:  VAR object model
    F-Test = 2.0902, df1 = 6, df2 = 150, p-value = 0.05758

    ==================================================

    > 	testForCausalityForIOne(window(lngdpsa,startDate,midDate),window(lnm3sa,startDate,midDate),8)
    Number of lags, selected by AIC: 2

    	Granger causality H0: output do not Granger-cause money

    F-Test = 12.548, df1 = 2, df2 = 174, p-value = 8.116e-06

    F-Test = 0.5089, df1 = 2, df2 = 174, p-value = 0.6021

    ==================================================

    The first is raw data, the second is seasonally-adjusted data. The former has more lags due to the seasonality effect, and winds up very nearly rejecting a hypothesis that m3 money does not granger-cause output, whilst the latter assigns it a p-value of 0.6.

    F-Test = 2.3633, df1 = 6, df2 = 150, p-value = 0.03283

    ==================================================

    > 	testForCausalityForIOne(window(lngdpsa,startDate,midDate),window(lnm1sa,startDate,midDate),8)
    Number of lags, selected by AIC: 1

    	Granger causality H0: output do not Granger-cause money

    data:  VAR object model
    F-Test = 4.996, df1 = 1, df2 = 180, p-value = 0.02664

    data:  VAR object model
    F-Test = 0, df1 = 1, df2 = 180, p-value = 1
