    I am utterly without opinion at the moment

    I can't even decide what type of vacation to take (i.e. lie around all day, or like actual sight-seeing)

    Which is why I've left it in the hands and imaginations of you guys :D

    what kinda budget? and where have you been already so we don't duplicate?

    I can probably happily go up to $3-4k depending on what I get for it

    Places I have been a lot and have very little interest in visiting any time soon:

    Florida, The Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Cuba

    Places I have been but would happily revisit:

    Much of the remaining Eastern Seaboard, Much of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria

    the problem with the Eastern Seaboard in that time period is that the weather probably sucks

    unless you want a ski vacation or something, in which case, ski the alps or western Canada (I forget which part of canada you are in now)

    I would suggest a pacfic island - Hawaii is very nice, or maybe Fiji?

    I could ski - how delightfully white of me to take a whole vacation for that, too!

    Plus going back to the West Coast would be fun

    But on the other hand, Fiji

    Places I have been a lot and have very little interest in visiting any time soon:

    Florida, The Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Cuba

    Places I have been but would happily revisit:

    Much of the remaining Eastern Seaboard, Much of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria

    the problem with the Eastern Seaboard in that time period is that the weather probably sucks

    unless you want a ski vacation or something, in which case, ski the alps or western Canada (I forget which part of canada you are in now)

    I would suggest a pacfic island - Hawaii is very nice, or maybe Fiji?

    I could ski - how delightfully white of me to take a whole vacation for that, too!

    Plus going back to the West Coast would be fun

    But on the other hand, Fiji

    Mostly make fun of Australians to be honest.

    But there's a ton of things to do since the landscape is quite varied.

    Most tourism activities are centered around nature thingies.

    I like nature!

    But I gotta say, I do feel Europe's siren song

    But it'll be winter, I'll want to be warm
