    hmm mirrors edge is $10 and Eclipse doesnt look like something that can really be played like, on demand, since you have to wait for other people to take their turns

    ios seems vastly inferior to android for dicking around games on the cheap, and seems to lack a try-and-refund-if-it-sucks feature

    Well you didn't specify what kind of game you wanted.

    iOS is mainly composed of cheap dicking around games. Get Tiny Wings. It's the best.

    Jetpack Joyride is a good dicking around game. Space Invaders Infinity Gene has more meat than your normal dicking around game but can still be played on demand. Spelltower is a cool word game. Slingshot Racing is fun. PunchQuest has a Jetpack Joyride feel but I like it even better.

    The ones I lived in were good, I liked it, but it was pretty far from the George Square campus where most of my classes were. And where most of my friends lived.

    Hmm. Yeah I'd definitely consider getting housing through the university, easy to make the cheque out to the same place. I'll have to look into what buildings I'll probably have classes in and go from there.

    Upstate NY, we've had a string of ~40F days and they've turned the heat off for the summer in my building. The nights dip down to the low 30s. My roommate and I are slowly freezing to death.
