    Presumedly the idea is that it's impossible to generate the 'perfect' universe frog, what with it being made by shitty teenagers and all.
    So any universe made will be imperfect, maybe designated by the size of the tumor?

    Or not, whatever, maybe Hussie will clarify at some stage, I guess it's not a particularly massive plot point at this stage.

    I got the feeling it ties with confronting your fear/making choices/pushing yourself/all the coming of age hooey.

    Like Jade. In the quest to get the last piece of DNA for the universe frog she went to her denizen who gave her a choice between a fight and something that(at the time) seemed impossible. She choose to believe in herself and take a leap of faith.

    Kanaya mentioned her denizen also gave her a choice between doing something impossible or a fight. But she just choose to kill it and she later laments to Karkat maybe it was the wrong choice.

    I had a homestuck dream last night. Hussie apparently went on some kind of drug-induced rampage where he introduced one more character who killed everyone. In the epilogue, this character cause SB&HJ to go into trickster mode. All of this in six pages.
