well, for one, that website is kinda shit
also a few nitpicks:
1. "imported" means nothing here
2. There aren't really any 16 ounce bottles. (which is roughly half a litre. 0,33 and 0,5 are the usual sizes - bottles and cans for the first one, cans for the latter.)
3. A 0,5l can of any beer costs sorta that, but only at the store. A bar will be far, far more expensive.

Seriously, it is insane the kind of technology we have and how it is so normal that we don't even think about it.
Like, I was playing a digital version of a card game on my pocket sized smart phone against my friend in America from Japan while on a train going 300 km/h and found myself slightly annoyed that I lost connection while going through a particularly long tunnel, and then promptly realized how absurd and amazing it was that I could be annoyed by that.

Ultima 7 suffers from the same problems.
I liked 8, though it is a tonal shift from the series as a whole, and is a rather dark game.
