The new N-Strike Elite line has blasters (among the Rampage is one) that can fire up to 75 feet stock, 50 feet on a flat trajectory.

They are coming out with this:

with a promised stock firing distance of 100 feet

That's actually not the first blaster with a bipod. They've made sniper rifles before.

    There is also this

battery operated carousel, you can fit 4 drums on it for a 140 dart capacity

so i have a bootable usb drive with windows 7

this laptop came with uefi as the boot scheme, and it won't allow me to shift to legacy in order to adjust the boot order

is there any way to get around this and force boot from usb?

You should be able to change it in BIOS. Press Del a few times when you first start the laptop up.

    the answer is pretty ridiculous

i thought i couldn't change bios schemes because the machine wouldn't toggle down to legacy

turns out the down arrow is broken on this machine

plugged in an external kb and it worked, heh

We need to give all but maybe 3-4 of them away. She insists it be a 'no-kill' shelter, so now I have to go and find one of those or get it adopted by some poor unwitting family.

I think @Winky is trying to point to pre-agrarian society where dogs would be very useful no matter where you are. There probably were shifts in society since that period were dogs were beyond a necessary evil.

Also I would say it is hard to generalize large chunks like SE Asia or the Mid East in this aspect. I am pretty sure parts of Egypt they are still considered useful companions. Feral dogs are actually still dogs being part of society, and in some cases a more traditional role since they really were scavengers who let into our camps because they were useful.

OK. The idea of euthanizing a pet as opposed to it being in pain or starving or whatever is stomachable. You are literally saying that it's too inconvenient for you to make an attempt to try and avoid that. Perhaps its just your wording as differences can be subtle.

Oh, well then if it's pre-agrarian I have no idea. Probably all known societies were very similar to each other in that regard ...?

Right, but this assumes we can find people to take them and/or a shelter that will accept 5-6 cats.

you would like to just euthanize without putting effort towards finding a place for them to live?
