Endless space though has a better UI. God the UI took me a bit to figure out. And the tutorial is just screen shots.
But it is nice seeing a fleet of 80 ships hit another fleet of 80 ships and not the weird 20 vs 20 pop cap thing. Also I have boarding shuttles, boarding enemy ships is half the fun of these games to me.
Oh and it has an espionage system which actually does stuff.
