Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.

Cool cool, I might have more funding and time for games soon so I should be good to go.
Thinking about getting a proper computer for word processing/video gaming if this job pans out.
Not sure I have ever heard anyone say eye-core.
I always thought it was ick-cur/ick-core

So you and I are on opposite ends, and were originally arguing about something completely unrelated which was a misunderstanding, isn't the internet great? :rotate:
Tomlinson ratings are a formula derived value for how horses sire and dam sire ran on given surfaces.
Handicappers are oddsmakers that take variables and try to quantify them. They're the original soft science men.. I've aspired to be one.
I am positive that eye-core is correct, but I'm not positive where I heard it. Very likely some video game.
So did I, until I listened to a Lovecraft audiobook last night, and was like "Wait, what the hell?" and paused it and then looked in a dictionary.
Learn things every day.
Probably a word I haven't actually heard pronounced correctly before and just have read it thus creating my own way of saying it.
That's a now to on the form. When I'm working I stare at a lot of things like these and do maths.. At least when I'm talking to you guys usually.

Hilariously, a really huge part of my vocabulary is like this so I mispronounce things constantly.
it sounds right for what it is
They're gonna hate it until they love it.
It's the blood of gods, so, I don't mind it having a kind of other worldly pronunciation.
Ah, well, that pronunciation does fit that sense of the word pretty well.
I'm jealous. I've never even been able to sit on one because of fat ass. I grew up near where a lot of Charlie Whittingham horses used to train, so I've always known a little about horses, it was just the last few years my interest really got piqued. This year is the first I've done any regular meet following.
like, the owner has horses that have gone to the derby and shit. and all the horse owner clients i've talked to were real laid back. it's neat.
Like, I never got into sports until I stated betting in them, and one of my favorite parts of the horse industry is how integral the gambling is to it, and how approachable it is. Like, if you have the drive and desire, you can get a horse in the derby. Orb was a homebred/backyard breeder!
I have to say it's 1) depressing to write-off a horse
and 2) it's hilarious to see "stud fees"
TEE HEE
study for your CPA exam god dammit
Hmm...
After careful consideration I've come to a decision:
Merriam-Webster can go fuck themselves.
Eye plan to ignore it and continue forward with ick-core. If you don't likd it, conquer Canada and reeducate me at gun point, eh.
You can live your hollow lie.
That is punishment enough.
I'm not usually a fan of embracing ignorance, but ick-core just sounds better.
i'm selling my kidney
Or just wait a week and he'll probably do it in the middle of a meeting.
Commence horizontal position in 3, 2, 1 ... !
