Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,

Man, salvaging and mining suck ass. And it took me too long to get into a battlecruiser. And when I did I couldn't afford to lose it so I was afraid of undocking it. Battleships were the main ship of any op. I didn't want to have to be at the periphery if I didn't want to and I wanted something powerful. I also wanted to fly an interceptor and that would take a shitload of time to skill up to as well.
On the other hand, I'm trying to prove a point
But, it really is a lost cause
On the other hand, I'm kinda intrigued to see how high Raven's score can go
Fun times, but boy oh boy how the fuck did that happen.
Well there's always co-op for Squadron or a private server that's more peaceful. You can choose where to play on any given day according to your mood.
Time for the Winnie the Pooh Shogunate to wipe the galaxy clean of duplicitous sentient plantlife
That's not a fork FYI.
That's what they use to open your throat and remove the obstructing gob of meat from your airway.

This is why it always sounded better to just be a fleshreaper pilot or whatever, swarming assholes with giant ships

Totally, which I'm a-ok with. Also why the complaining the Star Citizen thread grates on my nerves a bit.
I was like this last summer.
Instead of writing my thesis I elected to eat a medium pizza and stay in bed all day watching Rescue Me.
It's not what's inside that counts most after all.
I'm watching Ronin again because I forgot a lot of it

Someone dress me for this party tomorrow
Well shit, I figure I'll just do all of it for good measure.
Uh, caffeine, ho?
This is what I do every finals period
IMO it's worth it
Wear a tuxedo.
Someone else dress me for this party tomorrow.
Interceptor takes less than a month and you can already do everything you can in one in a tech 1 frig. Tech 1 gunned Maelstrom takes two weeks if you have the supports trained, month and a half maybe if you don't. All those "periphery" roles are actually vital to battleships not being fucking useless and honestly more fun.
The problem I had with smaller ships is that I would get picked off very fast if someone targeted me and the lag was terrible so I couldn't really respond to it.

I didn't find them fun enough to play only those roles. I wanted a choice and choices are severely restricted by the skill system. I was starting my character from scratch and a month or two before my character has sufficient choices is ridiculous.
I didn't feel like I was contributing much as a tackler. There were so many tacklers on the few ops I went on. At least with DPS I would be blowing stuff up.
Wear a suit.
