The beer, which has a slight honey flavour, will initially be marketed to homosexual consumers in Mexico, Colombia and Japan.

The Minerva brewery said that the "Artisan Honey-Ales" would appeal to a section of the beer-drinking public that had so far been snubbed by larger brewers.

"We're out in the market with great respect with the idea of offering a product directed to the gay-lesbian community that has been ignored for too long but is important and very demanding", Dario Rodriguez Wyler, commercial manager for distributors Bodega 12, told the Mexican news agency Efe.

The label on the beer bottles has been designed so that it can be unglued and worn as a symbol of gay-lesbian pride, he said.

Bwah? Man, marketing is just gonna get stupider and stupider and more and more niche isn't it? Just try and enact that extreme minority.. Like the readers of a web comic that use tthe forum. o_O

I bought giant gloves today! They're warm and have finger thingies for phone screens.

What I really need now is a non-metallic belt for airports, and composite-toed boots (rather then steel).

Are you planning to visit the Antarctic or something?

Yeah, that ad campaign is really silly.

Cambridge Brewing Company did a much better job when they created Harvey Milk Stout.

It's just a nice tribute to a great man.

Brewers try sweeter or flavoured beers all the time - although usually to market to women.

Instead you shall be cursed to drink only Monteith's Radler, a poor copy of a radler by one of NZ's duopoly brewers, who has long delivered mediocrity to the till recently captive market
