My laptop had an i7 or some shit and put out enough heat to heat a small efficiency apartment and was 7 million pounds. I will never do that again.
if you have a monitor or case or something it would be cheaper

I went back and forth so much on the graphics card
I just looked at a patch to update a popular new game on one of the go-to sites.
It involved unpacking the download, manually replacing contents in specific folders in the game directory, using your local firewall to block specific applications and ports... And it also has a 10 page discussion going on on how it doesn't work, with people telling them, they need to manually walk through all of the updates and cracks before doing the most recent one.
Seriously, by that point I could have paid 30-40 bucks, and been playing the game and saved myself some money cause I could just do some work for a client instead of wasting my own time stealing from someone else.

It's not a very interesting story but it is a charming one. Veterans noted that the monument meant more because the koreans were the ones who got the idea and paid for it in the first place. Also some reuniting between norwegians and some of the koreans who worked at NORMASH with them.

Filled a bag full of non-perishable food items for the mail man (I don't know if it's a national thing, but they left a brown paper sack in my mailbox yesterday with instructions to fill it up for local charities)
Since it's wet as hell outside, I had to laminate the bottom of the bag with aluminum foil.

my previous laptop was like 4.5lbs (~2kg) and i didn't think it was heavy at the time
then i commuted to school on the train and walking everyday with my <3lb (say 1.35kilos?) laptop and i am like OH GOD WHAT WERE THEY DOING TO ME BEFORE

the SSD is just for being your system drive and installing critical applications on. Most stuff gets installed on the 1TB drive.
you're also old and you can actually make 30-40 bucks in the time it takes to do this.
but anyway for most games, it's download install crack run bam.
and not all games are on the convenient platforms either, so some exception doesn't count.

so I think you pot the os and like a few games/programs on the ssd for like, instant bootups and game performance
and then all your porns and mp3s and pictures and shit you put on the other hdd

I kind of want to try one out on the cheap by getting a secondhand galaxy tab or something before I need to think seriously about replacing this laptop.
Because I still haven't figured out if I'll actually use one or not.
You can install Windows and Linux on Macs. Unless you need it to be pre-installed.

My iPad 1 changed the way I do things significantly.
My iPad Mini streamlined it, made it more convenient to have on me all the time, and I cannot imagine being without at this point.

I guess the new macs have a hybrid drive that automatically moves the shit you use most to the ssd
I think 1tb was same price or cheaper than smaller regular hdds
and you totes need a place to store your files!
Weirdly the thing that's made me think about it the most is that pdfs make the ereader I inherited from Cesca juuuust slow enough to be annoying.
So I'm kind of thinking of it as a colour ereader that I might use for other things, if/when I have the cash to pick one up.
