Brought my SNES to work because there is fuck all to do here today and I am the only one here. Getting paid by U.S. tax dollars to play Plok! aww yeaaaahhhhhhhh.

Lovin' the fact that you have an SNES.

I still have one and I fucking love it.

Too bad it is tempermental and touching the cartridge the wrong way will make it do weird stuff and possibly wipe the memory.

Plok! is such an underrated game

It has some of my favorite video game music of all time on there. the Plocky theme is so great.

And just to be clear, I've lived in FAR shadier areas than this, but damnit, I wanna complain!!!:P

That's how it is in big towns. You're one block away from the shadiest of shady bars but you're 3 also blocks away from AWESOME bars.

I've learnt the hard way to avoid the ''pub'' closest to my place.

Yeah, that's pretty much been the case for me as well, although I did have an awesome downtown apartment a few years ago that was across the street from one of the better bars/clubs in the city...

I'd miss that apartment if not for some of the awful shit that went down there.

    Gotta re-flow that plug.

Also, this is now a count of three that have their original SNES consoles.

Yeah, my experience today was "set everything up, plug in the Plok! cartridge, hit power and HOLY SHIT EVERYTHING WORKED FIRST TIME!"

MY old roommate from almost 10 years ago left his SNES with me. It had everything but the controllers. I held on to it until just a few months ago, thanks mainly to Steam giving me a massive backlog of games. I already regret getting rid of it. I should have just bought a controller and collected the games I really missed.

I have a small collection of snes games, all stuff I got after playing it lots as a kid. don't know where all my games from my childhood went, just a handful of snes games survived

    Man, I do wish I still had my X2 & X3.

My old FF3(6) was stolen at some point. I had a save on there that had every character maxed out. Thinking about taking a sabbatical and recreating it.

Holy shit guys I really liked Iron Man 3.

Streets ahead of 2... repeat viewings might be needed to decide just how close to 1 it is in its goodness, but I walked away very very happy.

I was sorta irk'd RDJ wants to be done with it unless he gets so much money he can't resist but honestly this is one of the best ways I've seen a trilogy end in ages.

    Hmm.

On the one hand I want to recommend some stuff.

On the other, a lot of that might have been only good at the time/is heavily tinted by Nostalgia.

FFVI is awesome if you are looking for a game that is really a story that is really a bunch of stories about a bunch of individuals.

EDIT: I had a more honest response here initially, but I think I should pull the plug...

Yeah, I lived in a shady part of town. It did indeed feature drug dealers, and the occasional hooker, and more scarily, the scary type who might just mug you (or worse...) outside the main gates. The important thing is, I am not in that situation anymore. Bleh!

    It's not meh. It's.... fun.

There are some points that I can understand why people might think it was tedious, but I enjoy robot fighting time, and I really enjoy watching RDJ being RDJ++, and this film delivers. In spades.
