    man this is an aside

but he was so terrifying in universal soldier 4

i normally just don't like him in anything but

    man that movie

While his Bane was way more theatrical than Doom should be and kinda garbled by the mask

I would like to see/hear a Tom Hardy Dr. Doom. The man has a fantastic, booming voice, great charisma and physicality too. Plus he is great with accents. And hell he would probably be okay with being in the full face mask for 90% of the movie after Bane.

Chances of that happening are slim to none but hey fun to think about

I just hope they would give him a proper Eastern European former Soviet bloc style accent.

He often given just a theatrical British one but nope dude is from a tiny country inbetween Serbia, Romania and Croatia.

    Gimme that voice

You presume that the great Doom would speak any language less than perfectly?

i dunno after doing bane with the mask i'm pretty sure i would be like "alright, check that experience off the list, i'm not doing any shit like that any more ever"

Yeah well you ain't Tom Hardy dogg

Dude is a pretty crazy actor, go watch Bronson.

If the script and talent involved were good enough I doubt he would have a problem with playing Doom.

But like I said that will pretty much never happen anyways this is just bullshittin about casting
  • Vann DirasVann Diras Registered User regular
oh no i'm well aware of tom hardy's ouevre

    don't you worry about that

I don't know why, but anytime the Doom casting scenario comes up I want to say Karl Urban.

I don't even know if he's a good fit but I could see him doing the entire film without ever taking the mask off, like he did in Dredd.

Dich's already pissed off that Blum voiced Shockwave in Fall of Cybertron, he'd have a conniption if the dude voiced DOOM

Bigby Wolf is the most cliche choice that fables made in terms of their characterization and is inexplicably and miraculously by far their best. He's just done really well.

Disney is going to have to pay some bucks for Avengers 2. Marvel's lowballing of actors could come back to bite them in the ass.
