    The fucked up thing is that Hasbro owns Parker Bros now, and does their comics liscensing through IDW, who recently made a deal with Mavel to reprint certain comics in the old Marvel Transformers line that included Marvel owned characters (Spider-Man, Circuit Breaker). What I can't figure out is why Marvel didn't use that opportunity to get a license to reprint the old ROM series. The precedent is there now, so I guess there's hope.

    One question I had after the movie :
    If AIM did the upgrades for Iron Patriot, why not include some easy open trick?instead of having to torture Rhody.

    I guess that makes sense. I didn't really mind it, since it led to that hilarious scene of him bursting out swinging, just thought it was odd, since they were afraid of Breaking the armor.

    Also re: the ending
    IIRC, Extremis is basically a virus, so Potts probably couldn't have it removed, just neutralized (unless comic books). And I'm like 99% certain that Tony modified it to be used in the surgery to remove the shrapnel, because otherwise there is no way the gaping hole in his chest is getting healed. So, yeah.

    Also I love how basically every trailer for this movie essentially opened with a clip from one of the final scenes of the epilogue.

    What triggered AIM going down to Tennessee? Also, why did they decide to contact that soldier's wife all of a sudden?

    you know the one thing about this movie I thought was odd (well, maybe one of two but the other I can wave away as contrivances of plot)?
    why is rhodey flying around in the iron patriot suit wearing casual clothing and not like, an airforce flight suit or something? I mean he's on the clock when he's in that armor anyways.

    the suit IS his uniform... Might as well wear some comfortable duds underneath it.

    Superfluous
    A flight suit serves specific purposes. It allows you to carry stuff securely while in an aircraft, and and the pressure suit, and all that. You could make the argument that he was violating the shit out of Geneva by not wearing a uniform, but since Patriot basically is his uniform, that probably got a pass.

    This movie was way less armor-porn than the others were but I thought the Iron Patriot armor was neat

    My girlfriend really wants a toy of the hulkbuster (or as she described it "the tubby one"). Hopefully they will produce one.

    Yes, with a basic role reversal. Starring Cheadle, also starring RDJ.

    Obviously RDJ would have to tone it down a bit, but I think they have good enough chemistry that RDJ wouldn't steal the show too much or too often.
