Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.

Carytown is what I imagine Richmond's upper-middle class thinks Portland is like.
It seems like a very ticky-tacky version of a bohemian boutique strip.
Though, I've also been going to Carytown since high school, which is the mid-90s, and it's kind of always been like that.
There are better restaurants now, though.
you could try this instead, but I've never used it

Is your thesis about process improvement at a Toyota plant?
Oh hey this actually looks really handy.
no law that says you can't store your gasoline in glass bottles!
I didn't study CS and I think I've been working as a developer for as long as anyone who posts here. Maybe longer (first test job in 2001, first dev job in 2004).
I took a total of 1 CS class in college and that was at a community college while I was still in Running Start. Actually never graduated from college at all. Ran out of money in my senior year.
Though I did start learning programming in 3rd grade cause a friend's dad was a coder and taught us the basics.
[chat] is mostly why I feel comfortable learning to read various coding languages. I don't really know them well, but can pick stuff up as needed instead of it all just looking like gibberish. Well, [chat] and classes I took in high school and at juco when I was 17 on html.
Galaxy Diner is still there, though, I see.
And some taco place with really horrible service.
But the Byrd survives so it's not all bad.
yes
no but for real my boss wants some sort of timeline for my experiments and she is fond of them for some reason
The first two you have to pay for. The last one is open source, but it's not an app you install so much as a platform you configure on a server.
like, you could probably install DotProject on a local Apache server on a virtual machine or something, but that seems like it might be a bear
I am literally the king of enabling and satisfaction.
I am hedonism made flesh.
I am pretty sure that in conjunction with the other stuff there are some violations going on.
I just am kind of amused in a "ha! They got him on tax evasion!" kind of way.
i'm a see me some wozzeck
The service at Nacho Mama is indeed terrible, but the food is p decent.
There's a new shawarma place near the top by Kroger that's pretty dope. Called Doner Kebab, I think.
Can Can is good if you don't mind paying way to much for fancy food (it's good, but overpriced imo).
but a bitch ain't one
hit me!
lets just have a lib arts orgy
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT EXPRESSIONIST OPERA

As opposed to
I've coded small games in my spare time and really liked even the basic grinding out of mechanics and solving problems
And it pays well even when you're doing some risky small startup! And it's
in big demand!
Ugh
Using Excel for a Gantt chart is kind of like using Powerpoint for an org chart.
In other words, it makes me hate you just a little bit more.
That's the royal "you", not you personally.
